Changing mortgage broker during property purchase

Afternoon!
My mortgage broker is - in short - terrible. He has delayed the Purchase of the property I have been trying to buy due to his consistently poor communication and not sending crucial documentation onto the mortgage lender, which is slowing down the process. As such, the seller of the property I am buying is getting pushy and is threatening to pull out.
Is it possible to change mortgage broker during the purchase process, whilst retaining the same mortgage deal and solicitor?
Many thanks!

@pjw1592 You can retain the solicitor but changing brokers will usually mean a fresh new application.
