    I do not know about Equiniti, but these large pension administrators ( like WTW for example ) are not known for their fast response times, or even answering the phone at all. 
    Probably better if you can use the new online portal.

    Also make sure that you understand the reduction to your Midland/HSBC pension that will be applied when you reach State Pension Age - see links in my previous.

    Probably better if you can use the new online portal. 

    Let's hope it will be set up rather more speedily than relative's - it took months for Equiniti to set up his scheme's portal.
