    Inflation - unpredictable
    Returns from stocks - unpredictable
    Cash value - quantitative easing - Unpredictable

    The only predictable part of pensions & investments is my confusion...


    Depending on what you are invested in. There's predictability when investing as such. Just when you've think you've experienced and know it all. A curved ball will come along.
