After all the supermarkets raised the minimum order value to £40 morrisons has now dropped it back down to £25 and they've also added some £1.50  late evening delivery slots

I wonder if the other supermarkets will follow suit

I have just checked and mine says minimum of £40 too.

I don't use Morrisons but flit between Asda., Sainsbury's and Ocado.  I sometimes had to struggle a little to get my order to £40 (not with Ocado as it's more expensive than the other two) but prices have increased and there is no problem now.  For this reason I have been wondering if supermarkets would be putting the minimum up to £50?

I too have been wondering how long it will be before they do that. I sometimes struggle too but just miss a week if I cant make it up enough but as you say its not so difficult with the rising prices. I use Asda but only because I get 10% staff discount.

Can't see how they can make any money on a £25 minimum order when they couldn't make any money on a £40 minimum order.
Where has the OP got the information from ??

I made an online order last night to be delivered tonight and it was definitely £25 minimum order. Perhaps it's not in all stores/areas yet. I didn't manage to see any £1.50 slots though.

Mine has £25 minimum order showing, but the delivery costs seems variable, just wondering if the delivery cost varies depending on basket total? Not checked as I don't use Morrison's delivery these days

Tesco's minimum order for delivery is £25- but if the value is between £25-£40 then a charge is added on top of delivery.
    Possibly similar for Morrison's now?

The £1.50 slots here seem to be Saturday, Sunday and Monday and the last couple of slots at night 8 - 10pm

It's definatly just a £25 minimum not a lower minimum but with an extra charge

    Maybe it's something they're trialing
