I have been BR for 2 years now, Once i get to 6 years does all the debt on my credit file drop off automatically or do i have to ring around to sort out? Things have so much for the better now, and I actually have funds to buy a house so am keen to see if i can get a mortgage.
Thanks
Thanks

You should ideally perform a credit file clean up, most do it after discharge, but now is good too.

Thanks will have a look. Is it going to make any difference within the 6 years after BR though?0

Doing it now means that the defaults all drop off at the right time when the BR does. It can be done at the six year point if you want the hassle then but if done now then you can sit back and relax and when it’s time then it goes away and new life starts with out any agro.1
