Can someone explain how you divide totals by 43 years and 52 weeks and arrive at the figures shown!!!
Also on page 3 they divide by 43 years and 52 weeks and in the next paragraph divide by 44??

As these calculations are so complex it is possible someone has made a mistake i was thinking of asking dwp for the information they have about my past employment history, i think its called a subject access request?

It just looks to be confusingly written

    £11605 divided by 43 (years) = £269.88

    £269.88 divided by 52 (weeks) = £5.19

Are you satisfied now that you know you just need a single post 2016 year?

Nice to see all the workings, very useful as an educational tool.
The outcome though is exactly as described by others very early on in the thread.
The important thing now is to confirm with FPC that the part paid year will add to your pension - there is absolutely no reason that it should not - and get that amount paid, you are losing £4.77 every week it is not paid.
  • @molerat put this is in the second response in this thread.
Have you any gaps post 2016, if so you should be able to fill one to get that extra £5.

    9 pages later..,....

He’s not saying that a part year counts for anything. He’s telling you to pay the rest of that part year to make it a full year and you’ll get that full pension.

With respect, people have been saying that to you for ages. Nothing has changed.
