How to remove 2 charges (non financial)

Looking for help to remove 2 charges that were applied 16 years ago by my ex husbands lawyer. I have downloaded forms AP1 and DS1 online but uncertain how to complete the "Execution of deeds" section. Was hoping not to need to pay for expensive legal support... any advice appreciated.

Also does my Ex have to sign too?? He is disengaged currently....

If the charges were in favour of your ex then it's your ex who will have to authorise them being removed - wouldn't be much point in him registering the charges if you could just get rid of them yourself!

Would also make it very easy for everybody to suddenly become "mortgage-free"...
