Timeframe for VOA Council Tax Band Review

Hi all

I was just wondering what response timeframe people had encountered when the VOA conduct a review of their band?

The VOA agreed to carry out a review in mid February following our initial enquiry and providing evidence of houses in lower bands. In their email it said to contact them if we had not heard anything back by 16 April. We then emailed them on 25 April asking for an update but have had nothing back.

Is three months normal for a VOA review or can it take much longer?

I would contact them again.

It can be some months before the results of a review are known, as valid appeals with Tribunal deadlines will take precedence. But it is highly unlikely that your request has been forgotten.
