But, if you're new to Beehive Money and you're only here to check out the Box on a Budget competition let us tell you who we are! We are Beehive Money, the savings app and website that helps our members reach their life goals. Find out more about or . We entertain our members and guests in our hospitality box at the Mattioli Woods Welford Road stadium but it’s in need of a little T.L.C - that’s where you come in. We’d love you to redesign the space, bring it into the 21st century and make it fit for the Queen Bee herself. 

Designing the space

The space is approximately 4m x 4m (excluding a kitchen unit and worktop and furniture). It’s glass fronted with a view out onto the pitch and our Beehive Money Stand. It must have enough seating for 12 guests and incorporate a space for food and drinks to be stored and enjoyed.

You'll have a maximum budget of £2,500 to re-design the space, so make sure you think about how you would best spend the available budget for maximum impact. Here at Beehive, we’re really into budgeting, so impress us with a breakdown of costs alongside your concept design or mood board.

So, what's next?

A shortlist of designs will be put to a public vote to determine the winner. The winning designer will...

• Have their vision bought to life at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium whilst managing the project on the day of the renovation.
• Travel expenses of up to £100 to come and manage the renovation day.
• Be the lucky winner of £500 voucher of their choice
• Plus, the opportunity to experience a Leicester Tigers game from the box at the start of 2022/2023 season along with 9 guests.

1. To be eligible for the competition you must be resident in the UK and aged 16 or over.

2. Employees of Nottingham Building Society, Leicester Tigers and their relatives are not allowed to participate.

3. To be in with a chance of being considered for the shortlist and being voted the best design and receive £500 voucher of your choice, and your winning design recreated at Mattioli Woods Welford Road Stadium; all you have to do is:

• Produce a mood board and/or room design in line with the design brief and stipulations outlined by Beehive Money.
• Submit your entry by email to social@beehivemoney.co.uk with the subject line Box on a Budget between 9.00am on Monday 9th May and before the closing date on 11.59pm on Friday 17st June 2022, along with your name, Instagram account and location.
• Hold an Instagram account.

Design Brief

• Create a new design or mood board that we can use to renovate the Beehive Money box at the Leicester Tiger Mattioli Woods Welford road stadium.
• The space is approximately 4m x 4m (excluding a kitchen unit, worktop and furniture). It’s glass fronted with a view out onto the pitch and our Beehive Money Stand.
• It must have enough seating for 12 guests and incorporate a space for food and drinks to be stored and enjoyed.
• You have a maximum budget of £2,500 to re-design the space.
• Include a breakdown of costs required to implement your design.
• We want the space to be contemporary, warm and inviting, relaxing and comfortable.

4. Details (your name, city, town and designs) provided will only be used to complete the competition judging and voting (on our social media pages), unless separate permission is provided for a different use (for example, signing up to receive a newsletter). Non-winners' details will be kept for six months after the draw before deletion. Winner’s details will be kept for twelve months before deletion.

5. Only one entry per person allowed.

6. The prize is not transferrable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

7. All submissions received that meet the design brief will be reviewed by a panel made up of the Beehive Money team and an independent interior designer and a shortlist of designs will be selected to face a public vote. The winning design will be the design that has received the most public votes. Submissions which do not meet the design brief will not be considered for the short list

8. The winner will be informed by email by Beehive Money as soon as possible after the public vote has closed.  

9. If 14 working days after the public vote has closed we have been unsuccessful in making contact with the winner we reserve the right to award the prize to the runner-up.

10. To ensure our competitions are transparent, once the winner has accepted their prize, their name and county of residence will be available, by sending a stamped addressed envelope to The Nottingham marked: Beehive Money Box on a Budget Instagram Competition, Nottingham Building Society, Nottingham House, 3 Fulforth Street, Nottingham NG1 3DL. The winner’s name and county of residence may also be published in a printed or online publication of our choice.

11. Entrants may be asked to take part in publicity, including featuring on Beehive Money Instagram page.

12. No correspondence will be entered into.
