I went BR in 04/04 an wondered if it had changed much since then?
My student loan was included (think that has changed)
I had early discharged from the OR
I kept the tax money saved from having the NT code

Early discharge doesn't happen now.
Tax money sometimes stays with you if your budget is tight.
My BR was 10 years ago0 -
Also everything is done online now and costs a lot more.0

According to Citizens Advice Student Loans still have to be paid -
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/debt-and-money/debt-solutions/bankruptcy/how-bankruptcy-affects-you/check-which-debts-bankruptcy-covers/
And the government says the same thing -

But there's an interesting Guardian article from 2003 which says that students in 2003 were applying for bankruptcy and being able to include student loans but the government were looking at tying up the 'loopholes', which it seems they've done. You may have just squeezed in before the law changed.

Thanks for the comments.
On-line is good, I do remember having to sit in front of a judge.
I have just looked up about Student Loans, and yes looks like I just done it in time.
Seems pre Sep 2004 they could be included.
I have to say it was one of the best things I've ever did, totally changed my life for the better.
I was also very lucky, everything came at the right time including the early discharge.
