DC pension pot

I’m approaching 55 with a DC pot of approx 280k invested in a moderate portfolio. If I didn’t add to this what sort of pot could I expect to end up with in 5 years time (aged 60)? Just looking for a general idea, best & worse scenarios. Thanks.

No such thing as a general idea when it comes to investment returns. Best advice would be to keep on adding to the pot.0

Thanks.Impossible to answer as you don't know if you are going to get a good 5 years or bad 5 years. You also haven't told us anything about your portfolio.
For the purposes of planning, probably assume the same value as it is now.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. As above, impossible to say, but, roughly speaking, it ought to be somewhere between about £180K and £380K.Burlster67 said:I’m approaching 55 with a DC pot of approx 280k invested in a moderate portfolio. How much would anticipate needing at 60, 61, etc, and are you planning to derisk (at least partially) accordingly, to accommodate sequence of returns risk, etc?1
