Bank statements still had parents address during mortgage application

I recently applied for a mortgage, and myself and my husband still had our parents addresses on the statements. We did change our addresses to our current rental property just before the application but our statements didn’t reflect the new address as it was the last 3 months statements.
Our mortgage application is under our current rental address and we did list our parents address as our previous address as we haven’t been at our current property for more than 3 years.
We’re both registered at our current address on the electoral role. We just weren’t planning on being at the current address long enough to have to change our bank correspondence to the new address, plus where we are at our flats is really insecure with post with a lot of break ins in our letterbox.
The underwriters did come back and ask by email why our previous address is on our statements and not our current and we’ve answered them but not heard back for 3 days. Feeling really anxious they’ll reject us on that basis now.
We don’t have a broker as we went with a non conventional bank and brokers don’t advise on that bank. The bank also has a manual underwriting process so everything is taking what feels like yonks.
Any advice - did anyone have this happen to them, and did you get approved/rejected?

@r9230245 As long as you can show some proof of current address (driving license, council tax bill, utility bill, etc.), you should be fine.
I've never had a case declined simply because the applicant hadn't updated a recent change of address with their bank.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. For our proof of address we both provided our council tax bill which had both our names on there and also the document was certified by the post office.0
