Sainsbury's coupon

I have a coupon for £18 off if spend £60+ on online groceries.  Looking at Sainsbury's prices, there doesn't seem to be any value in this, or enough value to make it worthwhile.  Anyone think of anything I can spend it on to extract the value?  No booze allowed unfortunately!

What you would consider to be good value obviously depends on where you normally shop and what you normally buy. 

Sainsbury's has 240 items price matched to Aldi which should be very good value once you take an extra 30% off.  Another way of looking at this - if you can find £42 of things you would buy at the same price anyway, you can add £18 of other items (treats for you / household items / donations for food banks) free of charge.

I would also recommend Sainsbury's frozen section, which has recently been relaunched and now includes lots of useful items I haven't seen elsewhere for a while, e.g. chopped spinach.

Does it include Home and Garden items that are delivered with groceries? Might be an option if you need or want anything like that.

I tend to buy basic food ingredients and don't find Sainsbury's more expensive than anywhere else. Stocking up on canned tomatoes, dried pasta, lentils, beans and rice etc would be my plan - assuming you'll actually use them!

Might be an idea to stock up on some basics that are price matched with aldi.  I only have a small freezer and that is quite full, so I can't get too much frozen stuff.  Need to see how much the delivery charges will be.

Not sure if it includes home and garden stuff, doesn't say anything on the leaflet.
