My mortgage expirence

I viewed a house last April put in an offer that was accepted the same week 77,000
Had my decison in principle I really wish I had took the time to investigate the process of being a first time buyer but I got a little bit too excited and caught up in the process
I went directly to lloyds paid a 10 percent deposit this was completly savings from work I wasn't aware of government schemes Isa's etc
I borrowed 69300 over 15 year term the percent rate is 3.37 around 490 a month this is pretty much in line with other mainstream lenders when I look online
I'm on a 2 year fix that is up for renewal next year I know it seems a silly question but I'm looking for a mortgage broker when the fix ends wheres the best place to look?
The majority of what I agreed to was suggested by Lloyd's if I'm honest but out of curiosity what difference could a broker of made to the intrest rates
I am a single male in my 20s nobody in my family own the bank just seemed the best people to turn to

@Jordanparly92 Lloyds direct rates are pretty competitive at most times (not at present though for 2 year fixes) so while you may or may not have got the "best rate" available to you, it's unlikely to have been too far off.
When the time comes (about 6 months prior to the end of your fix), just look at the MSE guide here to find a fee-free broker and compare what remortgage (changing to a new lender) they can offer with what Lloyds does for a product-transfer/product-switch/rate-switch (staying the Lloyds).
