I have Scottish Widows pension. It is lifestyling which I have been ok with up to now however, I was 60 in January and it has started to move from Pension Portfolio 4 to Pension Protector which is a bond fund. Is this now a bad idea? should I stop the lifestyling? My current plan is retire in 2 years and use this pension to bridge the cap until a DB pension starts at 65. Current value is £69k.

You are getting close to needing to take money out.
How much per year do you hope to take over that 3 year period?0 -
I was planning on £20000 a year

Probably best to be near cash on that basis or not very far off. Maybe a small percentage still in equities for a little bit longer but the bulk in cash.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
