Late payments 42 months ago

Options
Hi,

we are on the process of viewing properties and will need to apply for a mortgage. We both a good/excellent credits scores but I have some late payments for a PayPal account 42 months ago. Could this prevent us from being successful ?

@mrs6653 On it's own, 3+ year old missed payments should not stop you from getting a mortgage. You may fail "credit-scoring" (this is referring to internal lender-specific credit scoring, nothing to do with your Experian/Clearscore/Credit-Karma credit-score) for some lenders if you were applying at 95% LTV, but outside that I would not expect it to be a show-stopper.
