    I wish that all customers were equally discerning. I'm baffled as to how people think they'll ever break even at these kind of prices.

    you need to advise your FIT provider of additional panels Even if they have their own generation meter.  As per T+Cs.  And check it wont effect original FIT contract.  Better safe than sorry

    In some ways I wouldn't mind just binning off the old FIT system as they are old panels totaling 1.7kw, I do get a good rate though. If I took it off I could get around 4.5kw on that roof now with more modern panels. It's just a big job because would need the whole scaffolding setup to access that roof, but the garage is easily accessible with a ladder for the smaller system.otb666 said:
