He was online now so I just checked with him and he has changed it to 1000 Gigapoints per sign up.
He's trying to sort it out with those that have already signed up since he posted the competition.
As he stated on last night's stream that you could get a free entry this way, but made a slight error.

It should be sorted now.
Anyone that has created an account today, should now of had 1000 points credited to their account.

I'm not connected with them in anyway for anyone interested, I'm just a happy customer.
