House valuation after home improvements

Hello  :)

I'm looking for some advice regarding what I should be doing to get a valuation organised on my property which we extended last year from a 2 bedroom. 1 bathroom bungalow to a 4 bedroom / 2 bathroom 'chalet' bungalow.

It's coming up for mortgage renewal in August and I'm not sure how to approach this before starting the re-mortgage application. I'd like to know:
A. how much property is now worth since remodelling.
B. how does this get reflected on sites like Zoopla (where my home is still showing as 2 bed bungalow).
C. whether I need to involve local estate agents to get a feel for value or does this need to be carried out by a lender?

Thanks in advance for any guidance :]

    A. Just look at what similar properties (as similar as you can find) have sold for in the last 2 years, apply a dollop of optimism and you can use that estimate for the remortgage application.

    C. You may or may not want to get an EA valuation, but in any case the lender will do their own valuation (make sure that your broker/you tell them about the extension and insist on a physical valuation).
