Morning all,
I’m off to the beach today - 3 generations of 2 families who have been best friends for a very long time meeting up and having a picnic. It’s also very MSE.
spending and being frugal has been going really well - I have £40 sales on vinted with another top to post tmw. My monthly Asda order came on Tuesday so I just need fresh food top up shops for the rest of the month.

Our local dress agency is very good. There's also a designer dress agency nearby but I don't have any of designer clothes!😀. I do have some older designer bags that are quite well used - I was thinking of putting them up on Depop or eBay to see what I could get as all but one aren't really my style anymore, but I've never sold anything online before and am a bit nervous about the whole thing. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

I think as long as you’re honest about wear and tear etc in the description then it helps with selling but I know I’m not the most confident with selling things.
I have 3 money saving things to do today -- contact car dealer as I’m due £200 in fuel gift cards that I haven’t received - done
- Contact Sky and cancel F1 - I love F1 but I’m never in to watch it so it is a waste of £18 a month - done
- Change phone goody bag for uncle - saving myself £2 (looking after the pennies 😊) - done
I’m listing them to make sure they get done - I don’t like car dealers so I’ve been procrastinating big time and it will be a 2 min call to Sky but I need to take those 2 mins and do it.Plans today basically involve keeping a toddler entertained.1 -

Evening all
yes SSG - all 🐸 done 😊. I also sorted out my cash envelopes and sinking funds. Also asked for my £7.50 pay out from TopCashback and did a Prolific survey.
I met a friend for a run this morning and it set me up for a nice balanced day.
work wise - got told job role is changing again which I don’t mind - it will keep me busy but I need to put my name down for some training courses.
i attended my volunteer thing this afternoon and I think that is me caught up with everything.0 -
Morning
Another weekend has skipped past in a blink of an eye but it was lovely.
Spends - not too bad. All the big birthdays are done, they were fantastic but it was an expensive time. This weekend I met my friend for brunch for her birthday, I met a group of friends for a run and I weeded the garden so that I could sit out in it guilt free while the sun shone.
I've also started a diet...I have had eating issues in the past and they are in the past but it is a fine line from loosing weight slowly and healthily to falling back into my disordered eating but I can't ignore that BMI says I'm 'obese' - bit harsh!!. I am fit (I ran a marathon recently) but I am overweight and would feel better in my clothes and I'm not getting any younger. I would like to lose 36lbs by the end of the year and I've lost 2lb so far...its a startWeekly spends - 09 May

Morning
Life got in the way and I haven’t had a chance to update. I’m still on the frugal train and have discovered the joys of selling on a Vinted. I listed for the first time last Sunday and have sold 10 items, to be fair a lot went for £2 but a dress sold for £12 and I would rather sell to clear out stuff I have either never worn but would ‘slim into’ or just never felt comfortable. I plan on listing a few more bits today.
I have a busy weekend planned with social and house things - making a list to stay on top of it -
To do- breakfast out (not my turn to pay)
- Clean inside of windows
- Tidy house
- List items on vinted
- BBQ
- Run
- Batch cook
That should keep me out of trouble 😊

I have my niece for 3 days so I got up super early to tidy and clean - I don’t know how my sisters house is so clean with a toddler because my house is trashed when she goes 😂
So plans today- tidy house - done
- Put out washing and put 1 on
- Make picnic
- Beach

I am a sloth--no way would I clean and tidy my home ahead of a visit from a toddler who would 'trash' it.1

Hi Pollie - no, you have the right attitude with a toddler… I’ve given up after 2 days..it is impossible to keep clean. Victory goes to the toddler 😂
so y’day we got to the beach and toddler loved it .. unfortunately she took off running with me chasing then head first into the water.. fully clothed but I had brought 3 changes of clothes because I wasn’t going to spoil the beach trip with worrying about not getting soaked. My cousin took an amazing photo of us both drenched fully clothed but both laughing so hard.
today’s plans include me dragging the paddling pool out of the shed and cleaning it first before filling. Doing some batch cooking and then popping to the shops for my aunt and finally picking up toddler for the day. I can tell you now - tomorrow is going to be a very lazy day.0 -
Morning
I’m so bad at updating my diary and it’s supposed to be helping me stay on the straight and narrow - oops.
I’ve had a busy month with races, trip to England, community festival and also just every day life. On the money front I have some pennies left for the end of the month which I’m so happy about. I’ve gone nearly all cash budget except for bills and I’ve taken my cards out of my purse - just to make it that bit harder for me to spend and to give me a cooling off period before I hit that big ‘buy’ button.
I’m slowly making my way through my mountain of lotions and potions and putting unwanted/badly fitting bits on vinted. I haven’t been an Angel but I’m getting better and my friend wants her big b’day next year to be in New York and I want to be able to go and still have good savings and less debt.Weekly spends
