I came across this on another message board. It seems like a worthwhile cause:

It's Red Nose Day - the UK's major fundraising event for good causes across the world.

To get in the spirit of things we at TimeWatch have set ourselves a challenge - we aim to get as many signatures as possible on our petition to save the Thornborough Henges as possible - and we are being sponsored! For the first 2,800 signatures put on our petition between now and 12pm Thurs 17th March (St Patrick's Day), a group of supporters have offered to donate 10p to Red Nose day in the name of Thornborough Henges - That's £280.00 that we could raise, as well as getting a large number of signatures on our new petition.

Please take two minutes to view the animation on the home page of our website - https://www.timewatch.org. This will show you the ancient history of the Thornborough Henge Complex and the very recent threat it has come under. If you agree with us, that this threat is plain wrong, then sign our petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/TimeW1/petition.html and we will be a little step further to our goal.

Please help us, this is a huge challenge for us, previously our record was getting 300 signatures on our petition, please forward this to as many people as possible, remember, other members of your family can also sign our petition - please ask them.
