Spending Nectar points on Eurostar tickets - has anyone been successful?

I recently tried to convert my Nectar points into vouchers for Eurostar tickets, but received an error message on the app. I phoned Nectar, and they said that there had been a problem for about a week, meaning lots of customers were having this issue, and they couldn't give me a time frame for when it would be fixed. After this, I found a Twitter thread from November 2021 where people had had similar issues, saying it looks like Nectar no longer offer this, but haven't taken the offer off their advertising. I was gutted as I've been saving Nectar points for about five years! I was wondering whether anyone has successfully spent Nectar points on Eurostar tickets or had a similar experience?

No Clare, I haven't had any success either. The problem I have had is that you can't get a redemption code that you need to get the Eurostar voucher. Nobody on the nectar helpline understands this and they seem to think that it is a Eurostar problem although given that the code has to be generated from the Nectar side I don't think this can be right. They still seem to be promoting Eurostar travel so I wonder if anyone else has had any success?

It only works if you exchange for multiples of £10 vouchers. You then need to go on the eurostar site and exchange the nectar vouchers for eurostar e-vouchers. But its not working currently!

Does anyone know whether this is now working? Hoping to exchange mountains of nectar points for Eurostar vouchers.

I recently converted 20000 nectar points equivalent to £100 into a eurostar voucher that I can not use.

When I follow the link and instructions given to me by nectar and eurostar it does not work and ask me to contact them.

I have contacted both nectar and eurostar almost a week ago and haven’t had any response.

I feel that I have been robbed of my 20000 nectar points (£100). 

Is anyone able to Help?
