I hope this is okay to ask/comment on this thread but as a fairly new comper, what are peoples general approach to comping to win these types of prizes? Are you comping daily? How many are you entering? Daily competitions or one entry ones? I've won absolutely nothing and starting to wonder what the interest in all this is?

How long have you been entering for? Typically how many are you entering and how frequently?

I spent about 3-4 months entering religiously every day. Then after nothing, I gave up and had a break but i'm back!
I'm entering daily, I maybe spend an hour entering? I generally avoid IG, TW or FB but the rest I enter. I'm just wondering really what everyone else seems to do as i've just never won anything and it makes been wonder.

Hey s@Sophie_compet you could win good prizes doing an hour a day for sure, on average that’s a short time. I spend maybe between 3 and 6 hours a day, sometimes even more, but the thing about comping is there’s no guarantees, you could win more than me on your one hour a day because it’s all just down to chance. A girl I knew won £1000 on her first day comping, others wait months before a win, and it might be small.

the old phrase you have to be in it to win it is the truth, if you enjoy the hour of comping you do just keep going the law of averages dictates that sooner or later you will get your first win!

there’s no tricks or tips to offer, just do what you can and only if you’re enjoying it, if it becomes a chore take a break.
