Looking for a Scottish self-employed mortgage broker
Looking for recommendations for a mortgage broker, ideally one that specialises in self-employed. Also first time buyer and buying in West Scotland.
Have previously dealt with English brokers which wasn’t very good experience as they didn’t really know the Scottish market, flat tenements, legal that well and a lot of the lenders they worked with wouldn’t lend on Scottish properties.

@juliushibert The top rated mortgage broking firm on Trustpilot has plenty of branches in Scotland so it might be worth checking them out.
Unless you have a very complex setup, I wouldn't worry too much about self-employed expertise to start with as any half-decent experienced broker in 2022 will be more than comfortable with mainstream lending for self-employed income.
Good luck, hope you find someone that you're happy to work with!
