Please advice for letter explaining mental health

So, I did send the letters asking for debt write off to all my creditors yesterday, and I also had sent the same letter via e-mail to the creditors that had an email address available in public (not all did!) to expedite the issue.
I also filed affordability complaints for mis sold credit to two payday loans I had (one is paid off, one im still paying), just in case I could get some of the interest back.
A couple of my creditors have already answered my emails acknowledging my requests and my biggest creditor which is wescot (managing my NatWest loan, I have an outstanding amount of 14548 with them) have asked for more info and evidence so that they can make a decision. I sent wescot copies of my mental health diagnosis and my medications, it is good that I keep all this! and also from my PIP decision letter. All my medical evidence mention vulnerability and impulse control as well as excessive expending as a coping mechanism so I might have a slight chance of them actually listening to me!
MrLender asked for all my bank statements and credit report from the time they gave me the loan. The cheek of them... they accessed my credit report previous to giving me the loan AND they were granted access to check my bank transactions! Not an issue... I sent all they asked for.
TOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. All bad debt written off / paid by January 2023. No missed payments in 2023. Only one active credit card to pay off! I DID IT 🎉1 -

Apologies to revive an old thread, but how did you get on with this? I'm in a similar position myself. I also have Autism and ADHD, and Wescot holds about 50% of my debt and I'm under their special team as I declared my disabilities. I've sent a big letter in an email detailing all my issues and where they stem from, requesting a write-off. I guess you don't know if you don't try!

Hi! Don’t worry I’m happy to answer. I had two debts written off. The rest did not agree but offered me either a reduced amount (I have paid two off with reduced amounts) or a personalised payment plan. It’s been easy as I said I don’t do well on the phone so I’ve done everything either by letter or by email. I haven’t felt pressured or ashamed and it’s been a positive experience. If you do it, keep a copy of ALL letters and emails you send a receive and keep making token payments (I was paying £1 to each creditor) while you wait for their answers as they can’t take you to court for non payments as you show willingness to continue paying and to communicate with your creditorsTOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. They said no but gave me 6 months of “rest” with a £1 token payment monthly which is really helpful right now as I need to find a new house to move toTOTAL DEBT JUNE 2019: £38,233.87 Aiming debt free mid 2023. I would say offer them 20% as this is what they will get if they sell the debt to a collection agency
