Change pension provider

I have a workplace pension - I retired last year - had months of hassle trying to drawdown a small amount from my fund. So disenchanted with the administration side of this firm. Is it possible to move the fund to another firm without incurring income tax?

If you transfer a pension , then there is no tax to pay , as you are not changing the tax status of the funds . You are not withdrawing funds from the pension ,they just go from one pension to another .
Assuming this is a simple  DC pension ( not a DB/final salary type ) with no guaranteed benefits, it is normally very easy to transfer to a new provider nowadays . Just takes a few minutes on the internet and you ask the new provider to transfer in the current pension. No need usually to contact the current provider.
    Some provisos though.
The transfers themselves can be of variable time.
The fact you have already started drawdown , may mean you can not do it on line and some providers  may have some restrictions /need you to call them /fill in more forms .

This was a standard defined contribution/money purchase pension?

    Which firm is administering it?

Have you taken the Pension Commencement Lump Sum and actually started drawing a pension from the remainder of the fund?

The fund is with Aegon. I haven’t taken a lump sum (wasn’t offered that option), but I’m in the process of taking a small drawdown sum (if they ever get round to it!)

This is a little puzzling - are you sure that you were not offered the option of a tax free Pension Commencement Lump Sum?

What exactly did your Pension Options pack say?
