Employer-based bargains

My employer has offered me a range of 'voluntary benefits' which look like discounted deals on things like insurance, retail vouchers and online shopping sites.

Has anyone any experience of whether the deals you get through employer-based deals is any better than ones I can find through the web on my own?

You help much appreciated.

    We have a thing like that at work (a site where you can get deals, think it’s called bringyou or something). But the discounts don’t seem that impressive, especially compared to some of the bargains you pick up on this site. In fact, I wonder if my company only recommends them to get some kind of commission...
