Missed payment before completion- please help!

Good morning all,
I hope someone can help with my query!
I hope someone can help with my query!
I applied for a mortgage with Santander which has been fully approved subject to valuation. Credit report is largely okay with 2 missed payments in the last three years (2020 and 2019)
Everything has moved along perfectly until I realized yesterday that I had missed Marchs payment for my Very account! I am beyond beside myself with worry. I paid the payment 13 days later than I should and at the time I thought I was paying Aprils payment early. I’ve since paid another installment yesterday so my account is fully up to date. My credit report has updated with Very up until the 10th April according to experian and March is showing as 0 status code.
I have called Very and no one could advise whether or not it would go on, they have sent to their credit reference team who will look into removing the missed payment based on my circumstances. Up until Feb 2022, I used to receive a text message reminding me payment was due and whilst I appreciate I shouldn’t be solely reliant on that, every month I’d receive the text and log in and immediately pay. However in March I didn’t receive a text or email as normal and I then got very poorly with covid and it wasn’t paid. I have evidence of positive PCR although I’m not sure how much help that may be. Lastly, the month I gave birth to my son in Aug last year I was late for a payment and received an email saying payment overdue please pay, I logged in and paid immediately. Again, this time round I had no communication from very so had no idea I was late!
I now need to wait to hear from very and also wait for my new report to come through which is 2 weeks away- I’m absolutely besides myself with worry and whilst every case is different by my questions are-
is it likely Very will report the missed payment if it was 13 days late?
Is Santander known for final credit checks and if they saw a missed payment would this be an automatic retraction of offer or would I have an opportunity to explain?
if my offer is retracted, would I have other options with other lenders?
This is our dream home and I haven’t slept with worry, it’s going to be an agonizing few weeks!
any advice appreciated
thank you

What you've demonstrated here is you aren't financially mature enough to put measures in place to ensure you pay your bills on time. Short of being in coma for 6 months there's no excuse these days to be missing payments on regular bills with Direct Debit and Standing Order facilities widely available.
However its highly unlikely Santander will pull your mortgage at this stage because of this.1 -
@lff2022 First of all, please don't beat yourself up too much. These things happen, though you definitely should consider setting up a DD going forward.
Unless there is a long delay between offer and completion, or you need an offer extension, mainstream lenders are unlikely to run a fresh credit-score on the application so hopefully you will be ok on that front.
Even if it were to be pulled, the one missed payment should not by itself stop you from accessing another lender, though whether or not the numbers add up etc. is a different matter.I am a Mortgage Adviser - You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. One missed payment which actually wasn’t even my fault my debit card got stolen and I had to have a new one reissued and as a result of which I had to wait until the new card came through before a company could take, what was actually a credit repair payment so I didn’t even know anybody a penny, did indeed stop me accessing several lenders. I had to wait 12 months until it dropped off the radar kind of thing.1

Don't worry OP, it'll all be ok. I had two new missed payments I didn't know about but my broker sorted me out a normal mortgage.
