Not being paid holidays?

I was checking my last few payslips and noticed that any months I took holidays, it would be entered something, for example, like
Base hours 1200
Holiday pay 180.62
Absence 180.62-
Where this supposed absence would always be the same value, and my total income would only be my base pay, am I missing something or have I not been getting paid for holidays?

You don't get a day off plus pay for the day off on top of normal pay.

Is £1,200 right for your base hours inc the holiday? If it is then its ok as the holiday pay and absence pay cancel each other out.0

As above I would read that as you are getting paid.
You start with your base pay, then they deduct the hours you have taken as holiday, reducing the hours worked and then they credit those hours back to take you back to the base level.

In simple terms, if you've been paid your salary/wage then your holidays have been paid. Unless there are complicating factors that you haven't described. When I take holiday it has no impact at all on what I get paid. Is there a reason you think it's wrong?0
