Potentially statute barred resolvecall

3 Posts

About a week ago I received a letter from resolve call saying that they are working on behalf of arrow global, who bought debt from Shop direct (carval).
I’m a bit confused on what to do. I don’t really recognise this debt. But if it was mine, it’s definitely older than 10 years old. What’s the right thing to do here?
There’s no contact details for arrow global, only resolvecall, can I send them a provit letter without this affecting the statute barred status?

Yes the provit letter is specifically worded so as not to acknowledge anything, if you search a little more, you will find the hybrid version, which also denies the debt, but adds it would be statute barred anyway, no harm in sending that.
