MBNA are notorious for being pains on a DMP, I wouldn't worry too much. CCCS will sort them outNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Let them pass it to a DCA, they will be more ready to accept a offer as they probably paid penauts for the debt anyway.
Keep calm and it will all work out

hi--- we run our own dmp and most did not accept at first. it is really really scary, but just stick to your plan and what you have not got they cannot have:rolleyes: !
how long do you think yours will run for? we owed about60k, been on it about 6yrs and another3 to go. you WILL get there, don't let them wear you down,:D its often much easier when the debt is passed to a dca.LBM-2003ish
Owed £61k and £60ish mortgage
2010 owe £00.00 and £20K mortgage:D
2011 £9000 mortgage0 -
I second what churchrat says they pay less than the balance so any money coming in is profit. 18 months into mine only about 3 maybe 4 that are with the originals rest are DCA and sometimes even DCA pass them on too!0

Hi Everyone..Crikey,,I just can't believe all the positive advice and suggestions coming my way !! Thanks all of you. I don't feel half as alone as I did.
The CCCS reckon I'll have just short of 13 years to pay off £76K. But, I will do everything in my power to bring that term right down. I just have to walk before I can run. What I don't have I can't pay, as someone said...
I'll have to stick to my guns as I've no other option currently.0 -
We had about £70 over 13 years - it's do-able, keep coming for support

hi all
our dmp with cccs is for 16 years but again hoping to increase as we go along.
I had a few creditors not accept the plan straight away been paying since june 07 to cccs.
Some creditors have accepted and some have not but still take the payment and charge interest. I have had defaults early on and only yesterday i received a default from another creditor (who are not charging any interest but still saying no to the plan!!) Some creditors have said they will accept the payment offer but are still charging interest.
It is tough at first but worth it, i see it as a journey to being debt free with a few rough roads along the way but lots of help from this site.
take care
bye for now0
