Solar Panels

Good evening we are fortunate enough to have been offered solar panels FOC under our local council scheme which we are going ahead with. Has anyone any advice as to what questions we should be asking the company who are doing the installation?
The company we have dealt with are an electrician company but nowhere on their website does it mention solar panel installations although it seems they do electrical work for local councils which has rung alarm bells. So far we have had one survey done in which he measured the size of all the rooms, checked the roof by taking a photo from ground level (!) and went into the loft to check the insulation. We then had a further survey in which a different person checked we had sufficient insulation up there (we did)
My OH has been doing all the arrangements so far but as they are coming to fit the isolator on Monday (only arranged today by phone) I have been doing research online about any possible pitfalls.
Some questsions I have been thinking of are:-
1. who owns the panels after installation - presumably us as there is no payment for electricity given back to the grid
2. who is responsible for any faults? How long is the guarantee and what does it cover?
3. what if the roof starts leaking - will you come and fix it
Would there be 2 companies involved usually? one to do the electrical side and another to install them?
I know who i should be asking - the company themselves - and I will do that but I just want to get all my questions together so I am just sending one email. I suppose I'm not used to getting anything for free lol!
Thanks for any advice/experience.

What size system do they offer, is it 3.6kw? Or a token 600w - 1200w.And Octopus offer the best SEG payments, You don't have to move to them just for the SEG0

Don’t think octopus off the best rate unless you are a customer. Not sure though.8kw system spread over 6 roofs , surrounded by trees and in a valley.0
