Help. Sealed Pension Sharing Order continuingly being onstructed by Spouse's Pension Provider.

It is now over 2 years that they have been at these shenanigans.
Oct - Nov last year - they finally agreed to send me forms.
I have paid them circa £1500 in fees, filled in all their forms.
Been trying to get updates. Jan-Feb they replied that spouse has not filled in their forms. ( despite signing court order that they would )
Spouse said they would comply.
Has now gone radio silent.
All I get now is - "Thank you for your email.. WIll pass to admin team"
How can it be so difficult to get them to simply execute what a Judge has ordered them to do.
Short of going further in debt ( Solicitor wants £250 just to read the emails) for a start - how can I get this progressed.

Are you sure spouse has complied? If so, try ringing rather than e-mailing and see if that gets any further. if it doesn't, make a formal complaint to the administrators of the pension scheme, which should at least elicit some response.HarlingtonStraker said:It is now over 2 years that they have been at these shenanigans.

I have paid them circa £1500 in fees, filled in all their forms. What are these fees you are referring to? Normally there are no fees involved in a pension sharing order being done yourself. How can it be so difficult to get them to simply execute what a Judge has ordered them to do.If the receiving scheme hasn't requested the money from the ceding scheme then nothing will happen.
Is the receiving scheme provider the same as the ceding scheme?Short of going further in debt ( Solicitor wants £250 just to read the emails) for a start - how can I get this progressed.Communicate with your ex to find out if they have done it.
it is unclear from your post whether you are in receipt of the pension sharing order or its your pension that is being split.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). A pension scheme can do absolutely nothing if either party is not completing their forms (etc) for their part of the order. They can do nothing but chase for items to be completed as they have no further authority to do anything else.
Only the court could in theory put actual pressure on a spouse if they have failed to comply, although what that looks like I have no idea.
If (as it sounds like) your ex spouse is simply ignoring what they need to do , you have no choice except wait or pay for a solicitor to act.0 -
There most certainly are fees associated with a pension sharing order. You don't see fees on most retail pensions and not the person that is in receipt of the sharing order. With certain types of schemes it is possible but this is why I asked what are the fees being referred to and whether the op is the one in receipt of the pension order or the one whose pension is subject to the sharing order.Marcon said:
