The Department for Transport says there are reduced tickets available for off-peak journeys from 25 April to 27 May.

Another Shapps shambles in the making! As expected all the cheapest tickets were snapped up in minutes probably by 20 somethings who have their phones glued to their hands leaving older loyal rail users with nothing again!

 I was going to make some leisure trips but now won’t as I’m so angry about it and don’t fancy getting on trains full of youngsters with no idea how to behave. Thanks for nothing Grant.

I don't see how that is Grant Schapp's fault. Although some tickets could have been reserved for certain groups, including older customers.
