Post offices in Edinburgh that will certify documents?

Options
I've applied for a new savings account and they're asking for certified copies of my ID.  I've been to several posts offices, none of which provide this service.  Just wondered if anyone knows of any post offices in Edinburgh that do this?  West Edinburgh would be ideal but anywhere in Edinburgh would be fine!  Thanks

I did not think PO staff were regarded as suitable for certification.  Your councillor should be able to do it and they are wanting as many voters as they can get so may do it for free.

How hard is it to use the internet search engines to find the relevant Post Office web page and map search feature?

OK I'll do it for you.

I checked the post office website before i went there.  It says it does provide the service but when you go therre - they don't.

I also messaged the post office on their site but no-one got back to me.

If you'd said that in the first place...

    Who can certify documents Scotland?
    • bank or building society official.
    • councillor.
    • minister of religion.
    • dentist.
    • chartered accountant.
    • solicitor or notary.
    • teacher or lecturer
Likely cheaper than the PO anyway.  A few calls will, I'm sure, find out if that's so.
