Stained pillowcases

Has anyone got any tips for getting pillow cases back to white again ? They’re white back round with a print and the white doesn’t come up when washing normally, don’t want to bin them because they’re part of a set and weren’t cheap! Thank you 😊

You might try soaking them in a very hot solution of Napisan or similar.
It might also work with biological powder- though hot temps are supposed to kill the bio aspect
I soak stained white cotton in Bambino Mio (bought very very cheap in Aldi a while ago) and I think the formula must be similar to Napisan.Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I don't think it is in Aldi anymore- that was quite a while ago- very expensive when I looked on line. It was the laundry cleanser, not the wash powder.drwsgwrydd said:Thanks @Katiehound, I use bio washing pods already. I’ll try the bambino mio , love a bit of Aldis!
Napisan is the closest- probably from WilkoBeing polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

I found Bio Pods didn't cut it and moved back to powder, had much better results, especially with a pre soak if heavily stained.3

I use elbow grease brand laundry soap bar, very easy to use and most importantly,works.2

Napisan soak and then washing powder.
when I got my washing machine there was a washing brand leaflet explaining that powder and powder tablets contain bleaching agents, so good for white loads. But liquid detergent and pods don’t contain any bleach and are better for dark or coloured washing loads.Newlywed at the point I joined the forum... now newly separated4 -
Hottest wash with soda crystals added to your detergent, then line dry in the sun.1

Has anyone tried the old method of boiling them in water with lemons and then hanging outside to dry?3

I'm thinking that maybe white vinegar might work here.
My shower curtain was horrid pinkie colour at the bottom- soaked it in a strong hot white vinegar solution and then washed. Almost like new. (lost the 'dressing.'Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
