hi guys can anyone give me some advice
ive been wanting to treat myself to a new oled tv seen the 1 i`m wanting after lots of research and reviews
its on ao with discounts new at 1500 or i can go on ebay same1 new opened box from a retailer its 1150 inc warranty
is it safe to go down the ebay route or still with brand spanking new

No idea - depends how honest/reputable the seller is. Paying by Paypal or credit card will give you some measure of protection, but you do need to make sensible checks. How long have they been selling? What's their feedback like? Where is their business address? If it's a company, have a look on Companies House's website and check when they were established, and possibly download (free) their accounts. If they aren't going to be around to honour the warranty (assuming they provide it themselves rather than via third party), it's not going to be much use to you.northernstar007 said:hi guys can anyone give me some advice

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
Doesn't "opened box" often mean customer return? If they're not local find out how a warranty return is handled.
