    If you are going with a high-rate lender like Paragon for your residential mortgage, I would have thought have done the right thing here by taking out a 2 years fix and then remortgage to a high street bank at the end of 2 years.

    This is for BTL. But only end of 2yrs if I have to go with another lender for better deal I may have to go through the solicitor & mortgage advisor which may cost additional unless if I get a good deal with existing bank then it wouldn't cost additional .
