Equity release

I'm looking into equity release as our mortgage is long paid up and we have no dependants to leave anything to.
In the past I have been on a DMP but all paid up now and doesn't show on my credit ratings.
Will this affect my ability to get an equity release offer?
It was only myself on the DMP not the wife.

I very much doubt it.
You own a valuable asset and are looking at equity release.

Hi,
No, if the DMP has been repaid and there is nothing secured against your property, you should be fine.
Only a couple of the lenders credit score.0
