Re-mortgage - ID issue - help needed

I currently have a re-mortgage application going through - everything was going fine, I've had my offer etc, but there is an issue with the title deeds to my house, as they have my confirmation name on them. I have no idea how or why - I can only presume that when I've filled in whatever form there has been a section for "middle names" and I've put my middle name and my confirmation name. I've never had an issue with this before but my solicitor is saying they need me to provide them with ID that has my confirmation name on it... well I don't have anything with that on it because it's not a legally binding name, its a religious thing. They said I need to contact HM Land Registry to get the name removed, which I have done but a) I don't know if I filled out the form correctly as it was fairly confusing, and b) it can take up to 5 months for an application to change your name on your title deeds to go through. I have asked for it to be expedited but have not heard anything since and I'm just worried that it won't all go through in time. I really don't know what I was thinking putting my confirmation name on any sort of document, but it's done now. Is there any kind of statutory declaration or anything I can make that says my confirmation name isn't a legal name? Or any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Best asking the Land Registry rep over on the House Buying forum:

I expect a statutory declaration or similar may be a solution, but that's a question for your solicitor about what they'd accept.0
