Hi guys, 

Currently have a mortgage application being processed with Barclays which was submitted yesterday, following barclays Hard search on my credit file, I have today have a soft check and affordability check show up from Aviva, does anyone know if this will be in relation to the mortgage application?

It will probably be for insurance, have you ever had a quote from them or used a comparison site for insurance quotes?

Thanks - yes I was wondering if it was a quote for home/life insurance in relation to the mortgage, have since had other searches from insurers show up and realised its just renewal quotes for an old car insurance policy 😀
