Could I be entitled to a discount?

We're currently in band F for our council tax

With children under 18 and in full time education the council website states if there is a student you for be entitled to a discount. Would this be counted as a possible discount that I could ask about?

In addition could discounts be applied on the basis of circumstances changing such as a death in the family for someone who lived in the same property who also contributed towards council tax or is this purely based on total income?

Students are those over 18 and in full time education.

Council tax is on the property not the number of individuals living there.

No, one adult. No discount for 2 or more adults, full time students are "disregarded", i.e. not counted when calculating how many people occupy a dwelling.
