in Cutting tax
I was told to expect to see higher NI payments this April, but not seeing any change in my payslip - should I be checking with my employer?

Figures would be good - what period does the payslip cover, what are your earnings and how much tax and NI has been deducted ?

The same figures as March, I'm not revealing my exact earnings on a public forum. Did your NI contributions change in April?0
-
I did see the change in NI for payslip after 6th April.
Depending on the date of your payments, the latest pay may still have been in last tax year.
Your total pay may be below the NI threshold for the pay period.
The change for NI may be obscured by pay rise - NMW has increased.
Oh, and why do you call it a Brexit tax?1 -
Thanks all, I will check with my payroll dept.0
