email/letter when discharged

Hello,
was I meant to get a letter or email when I was discharged from my bankruptcy?
I've just been ready on the debt camel how to clean up my file and it says I may have had a letter, I didn't receive anything. Is my only choice of proof of discharge now to pay £70 for a Certificate of Discharge?
thanks

You are not notified of official discharge however if you go on the Insolvency service website and click on your name is will show your status as discharged.
This remains on there for 3 months so take a copy for your records0 -
