New Battery and Solis Inverter / Cloud Newbie questions!

Sorry if these are obvious but I need to get my head round a few things.

I had a battery and Solis inverter added to my solar panels and Solis inverter yesterday at around 3.30pm. The panels have been installed for 7 years.

The datalogger seems to be connected fine (although I am seeing datalogger and Inverter devices) and I am seeing data in the app / online but it is not showing generation (see image). Is that to be expected as it is an add on system to the original PV system?

I have been monitoring the battery level and it has not dropped below 20% since the install but according to my meter I have imported 0.4kwh day rate and 1.34kwh night rate up to 8.30 this morning. Are these small imports to be expected even though the battery has capacity?

The app/website is showing import from the grid and not using the battery overnight in my consumption figures (see image) even though it is obvious from my meter readings that this can not be the case. Is Solis cloud a bit flaky?

Why do I now have a solis-xxxxx...xxxxxx wifi network now?

Thanks a lot and I'm sure there are more q's to come  :)

16 Panel (250W JASolar) 4kWp, facing 170 degrees, 40 degree slope, Solis Inverter. Installed 29/9/2015 - £4700 (Norfolk Solar Together Scheme); 9.6kWh US2000C Pylontech batteries + Solis Inverter installed 12/4/2022 Year target (PVGIS-CMSAF) = 3880kWh - Installer estimate 3452 kWh:Average over 6 years = 4400 :j

We had a solis system installed last week. The wi-fi connection is through my own router, so I certainly don't have a "solis" wifi network. My graph just shows total power, but there is a scroll bar to check through other tick boxes to add to the display. My scroll bar is not easy to see. Sorry not to add more, but it's new to me as well.
  • I made an app with notifications because I find the official app takes too many clicks to get key info - remove the spaces - I can't post links:
    play. google.com/ store/apps/details?id=com.quickbrownbox. solisquickview

Let me know and I'll add any features now that the basic app is up

We had a new PV system with a solis inverter installed a couple of weeks ago. One of the batteries was dodgy and had to be swapped out, and we then had the batteries charging to 100% and the system then pulling power off the grid rather using the battery. We found that turning on a high consumption item in the house and simultaneously rebooting the inverter got it working properly until the firmware update was done. Once the batteries had less than 100% charge, the inverter was happy to draw off the batteries.  Contacted the installer, it was a known issue and an overnight firmware update by Solis sorted it. Could it be you have a similar issue?
