How will my house sale affect my council tax rebate?

Our house sale is due to complete in the coming weeks. We’ve paid council tax on our current property by DD for 4 years, but are moving to a new county so will cancel the DD when we move. I’ve scoured these forums and can’t find anything. Does anyone know if I will still get the rebate in Oct (hopefully sooner…) if I cancel my DD let’s say on 01/05? Thanks!
