Just had a peek on your SOA on the DMP support board (apologies if my advice to ask for help there was wrong), I think your car finance goes into the secured debt section if there is one - because if you stop paying this, (I think) you lose the car. I don't think it makes much difference to the overall numbers though.

It feels like you have your own DMP support crew here though, how are you feeling about it all?
Just to agree with kimwp, despite our experiences it's your choice totally which works for you :)

Thats it, the link from stepchange is what I used when I started off. You enter your budget and it flags up areas that might be a bit too much, and lists lots of categories you won't always have thought of.
We went with stepchange initially and I self managed from about 3 years in. Just as I felt more confident and able to take it over myself. I found stepchange very helpful.

Evening all, apologies for the delay, I am getting used to the drive  :D

Thank you all for your continued support and advice, I have had to cancel all of my DD's this month due to the way I am being paid and I cannot afford to pay my bills as I simply don't have enough.

However, I am writing down all my spending as you have advised so I will be able to have a clearer (sort of haha) SOA when I either go self-managed or contact SC. I am going to use their tool now for guidance and hopefully I will be able to make a move onto the next steps. Fingers crossed, I'm bricking it  :#
