Unused and unwanted light bulbs

I have a large number of light bulbs from old style incandescent to halogen which we no longer need.
The question is how to "dispose" of them?
I certainly don't want them to go to land fill. I've tried listing on Freegle but not takers.
So any suggestions would be most welcome.

Hi @Seadevil
I'm not sure if you still have them.
But you could also try:Freecycle
FreelyWheely
Preloved
Freeads
Gumtree
Shpock
Olio
or Facebook Groups/Marketplace.
If not, have you tried taking them somewhere they sell bulbs? They might have a better solution or be able to recycle them for you.B&Q or Robert Dyas might be some good places to ask.
Otherwise, most Tips/Dumps/Recycling centres have a bulb section, so they don't just go in with the usual general waste.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0
