I have just come across this article today and although it is a few years old it's still as relevant now as it was back in 2018.

From personal experience I have never paid anywhere near full price for an Udemy course. Their prices fluctuate frequently and they seem to run "offers" every few days. I may well try ordering my next course from a laptop rather than my phone though to see if there is a price variation.
