Using separate account for entering instagram comps - not winning anything

I use my photography account (@beth_captures) to enter insta comps because I don’t want to have to follow multiple accounts on my personal one. I enter comps everyday but haven’t won anything on there for well over a year and think the reason may be that my account doesn’t look very genuine. Does anyone have any tips for entering with an account that isn’t very personal? I’ve thought about setting up another one just for entering comps but don’t really want to post pictures of myself.

From what I've seen Instagram gets far more entries at times than other social media.

I've seen people say they've been comping on there for years and have never won.

Your work is beautiful! 
I dont think there's anything wrong with your account, just keep adding pictures to it periodically and keep it active is my advice.

Just on this point - I would actually disagree, most of my wins are from Instagram

I enter loads of comps on Instagram and very rarely win anything, but I do quite well on Twitter, for some reason.

I have never ever  won on Instagram in about 7 years and my account is sort of personal, no family photos but pictures of my garden and home. . I noticed some of my comping friends have a number of different  IG accounts that they enter on and win but I think that could be breaking the rules.

I've seen some ts and Cs say you must enter from a personal and not a business account

I sometimes doubt if some of the insta comps are ran properly and if prizes are actually granted.  I very rarely see follow up posts mentioning winners, etc.
